This page provides information on California's Toxic Air Contaminant (TAC) Identification program. Here you will find a brief explanation of the program, summaries of health and exposure information for the substances on the TAC list, and the executive summaries for reports that are available for specific substances. Scientific Review Panel | The Scientific Review Panel (SRP) is charged with evaluating the risk assessments of substances proposed for identification as TACs by the Air Resources Board (ARB) and the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR). |

Environmental Health Hazard Assessment |
The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) assists the ARB by developing the health assessment portion of the TAC identification documents; reviews facility risk assessments for the "Hot Spots" Program; is developing new risk assessment guidelines for the "Hot Spots" Program; and is the lead agency for Proposition 65. |

TACs that are pesticides are regulated in their pesticidal use by the Department of Pesticide Regulation. |
