California Code of Regulations Titles 13 and 17 for CARB

This page last reviewed May 06, 2010

The Air Resources Board (ARB or Board) Office of Legal Affairs superintends the rulemaking process for the Board. Below, you will find a list of the rulemaking catgories: i.e., "programs," the title and section numbers that apply for each rulemaking category, and the program and legal staff members responsible for each program.   The following table provides references to specific California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 13 and Title 17 sections that refer to test methods, procedures and protocols used by the ARB. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide direct links to these individual sections resident on the official California Office of Administrative Law (OAL) website. To access the "official" text for each CCR, please go to the OAL website select either Title 13 or 17, and then select "Division 3 - Air Resources (Board)" to find the current text of all ARB regulations.

If you have any questions regarding ARB regulations, please contact Lori Andreoni at (916) 322-4011.
  1. Individual CCR Sections

Currently, ARB regulations are found in two areas of the California Code of Regulations.

    • Title 13 Sections (Mobile Sources and Fuels)
    • Title 17 Sections (All Other Regulations)
  2. Program Components

The table below identifies the individual CCR sections that make up each identified program or program component:
