SACRAMENTO -- Join the Air Resources Board (ARB) for a two-day planning session on California's air quality plan:

The summit, meant to be a dialogue between the ARB and stakeholders, will cover emission source categories such as fuels, motor vehicles, consumer products and diesel engines. In addition, the ARB will share some preliminary ideas on future control measures that may help California meet its clean air goals. Equal time will be provided for participants to address the executive team.

Participants are invited to attend in person or to observe via webcast. For more information about the summit. The webcast will be available at on both days of the event.

CARB's mission is to promote and protect public health, welfare, and ecological resources through effective reduction of air pollutants while recognizing and considering effects on the economy. The CARB oversees all air pollution control efforts in California to attain and maintain health based air quality standards.
