In June 2016, the California Air Resources Board (ARB) members requested that staff provide an update on the California school bus population along with a plan for cleaning up remaining dirty school buses in the state. A public workshop will be held on November 4, 2016, and will cover the following: • Recent statewide school bus fleet survey. • Update on the school bus population in California. • Upcoming and potential funding sources available. • Discussion of possible strategies to clean up the California school bus fleet. The workshop is open to the public and will be an interactive and open discussion. Participation is encouraged.
