arbcombo -- Advanced Clean Truck Strategies, Truck Aerodynamics, and Sustainable Freight Data Collection Public Workshop

The Air Resources Board (ARB) invites you to participate in a public workshop on November 1, 2016 to discuss advancing clean truck technologies and data collection efforts. The workshop will begin the discussion on strategies to accelerate the market for advanced clean technologies primarily in local truck and last mile delivery applications and on supporting sustainable freight data collection efforts. The workshop will also enlist participation in survey and data gathering efforts to characterize vocational truck fleets and identify vocational vehicles that could benefit from the use of aerodynamic technologies. These strategies support ARB’s efforts to protect public health for the millions of Californians that still breathe unhealthy air, reduce exposure to air toxics in disadvantaged communities, and meet California’s greenhouse gas emission (GHG) reduction targets as part of the global action needed to slow global warming and achieve climate stabilization.
