bus-act -- Third Advanced Clean Transit Workgroup Meeting On August 29, 2016.

Posted: 04 Aug 2016 13:58:13
The Air Resources Board is holding the third Advanced Clean
Transit (ACT) Workgroup meeting on Monday, August 29, 2016 for
all interested parties. At this meeting we will discuss the
transit fleet survey results and continue the discussion on
progress in addressing key remaining questions about total cost
of ownership of zero emission buses compared to conventional
buses. In particular, the discussion will include an opportunity
for comments on staff’s analysis of available maintenance cost
data, bus price projections, and heavy duty battery cost trends.
Sharing cost data and other information through an open and
transparent public participation process meets the intent of the
Executive Officer and Board to reach a common understanding of
costs, and it establishes the foundation for further discussion
and a path forward. Alternative strategies or methods to reduce
emissions and meet State goals are planned for the following
meeting.

The time and location for the third Workgroup meeting are as
follows:
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 29, 2016
Sierra Hearing Room, 2nd floor
Cal/EPA Headquarters Building
1001 I Street, Sacramento, California 95814

This meeting will be webcast and can be watched at
https://video.calepa.ca.gov/. Stakeholders viewing by webcast
can submit comments and questions to staff during the meeting
through email at sierrarm@calepa.ca.gov. All meeting materials,
including agenda, discussion documents, etc. will be posted on
the Advanced Clean Transit website at:
