asbestos -- Asbestos – Working Draft of Test Method 435 Implementation Guidance Document

California Air Resources Board (ARB) staff has posted a working draft of the “Test Method 435 Field Sampling and Laboratory Practices Implementation Guidance Document.” In lieu of making formal regulatory changes to Test Method 435 (M435), this guidance document, when finalized, is intended to be used in conjunction with M435 to assist laboratories, consultants, local air pollution control districts, and other stakeholders in the application and performance of M435. It is expected that the guidance document will result in more accurate and repeatable M435 asbestos content measurements.
