Staff of the California Air Resource Board has posted a Notice of
Upcoming Low Carbon Fuel Standard Credits Release for Non-Metered
Residential Electric Vehicle Charging. The notice is to inform
the stakeholders that staff expects to complete the annual credit
calculation for the prior year and place credits in the Electric
Distribution Utilities’ accounts on the last working day of
February of each year, starting on February 29, 2016 for credits
from 2015 vehicle charging.  The notice also summarizes the
timeline and methodology staff used to calculate the credits of
non-metered residential charging.

The Low Carbon Fuel Standard, a regulation to reduce the carbon
intensity of fuels sold in California ten percent by 2020, is one
of the measures adopted by the California Air Resources Board,
pursuant to Health and Safety Code Sections 38500-38599 (AB 32)
to reduce greenhouse gases in California.  It is designed to help
clean the air, protect the environment, and drive the development
of clean, low-carbon fuels to improve California's energy
security and energy independence.
