The Air Resources Board has posted a copy of the Annual Report to the Legislature on Investments of Cap-and-Trade Auction Proceeds (Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund monies). The report was submitted by the Department of Finance to the Legislature on March 20, 2015, and is available on the Cap-and-Trade Auction Proceeds web page at: www.arb.ca.gov/auctionproceeds Assembly Bill 1532 requires the Department of Finance to submit annually to the Legislature a report on the status and outcomes of projects funded from the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF). This report describes the status of the programs funded through the first two appropriations of auctions proceeds in Fiscal Year 2013-14 and 2014-15. Totaling more than $900M, these monies are funding new and expanded climate mitigation programs across 12 state agencies. The report details each agency’s actions to develop the administrative structure of programs, seek public input on program design, define eligible projects, and in some cases, begin awarding project funds.
