AIR POLLUTION


Air pollution district wants to close loophole for crude oil
facilities.
The Ventura County Air Pollution Control District held a public
hearing Wednesday on its proposal to give residents better
protection from fumes from nearby crude oil facilities. The
proposal is a result of a lengthy crusade by two Simi Valley
residents, Kevin Tohill and Andy Brody, who say vapors from a
small crude oil facility on Brody’s property have made them and
their families ill.
