Posted: 24 Sep 2014 15:22:17
The California Air Resources Board (ARB) staff has posted a handout, “Handout: Refinery Investment Provisions,” containing draft regulatory language to be discussed in the September 29, 2014, LCFS workshop. The handout can be found at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/fuels/lcfs/lcfs_meetings/lcfs_meetings.htm. If you have any questions regarding this handout, please contact Ms. Stephanie Detwiler, Air Pollution Specialist, Oil and Gas Section at (916) 324-8024 or via email at sdetwile@arb.ca.gov. The LCFS, a regulation to reduce the carbon intensity of fuels sold in California ten percent by 2020, is one of the measures adopted by ARB, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Sections 38500-38599 (AB 32) to reduce California’s greenhouse gas emissions. It is designed to help clean the air, protect the environment, and drive the development of clean, low-carbon fuels. California is in a drought emergency.
