Posted: 10 Jul 2014 09:00:50
HARP health database has been updated to reflect the recent REL changes for benzene. On June 27, 2014, OEHHA adopted a new 8-hour REL and revised acute and chronic RELs for benzene. The REL values and summary can be found at: http://www.oehha.ca.gov/air/chronic_rels/BenzeneJune2014.html. The HARP Health Databases have been updated to reflect the changes discussed above. The updated Health Database for HARP can be downloaded at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/toxics/harp/software/health.mdb. To use it with HARP, you must replace your current health database located in the HARP main directory (typically C:HARP) with the one you just downloaded. The new health database for HARP On-Ramp can be downloaded at http://www.arb.ca.gov/toxics/harp/software/onramp/health.mdb. To use this health database, you must replace the current database typically located at "C:Program FilesCARBHARP On-RampTables" with this updated one. To update the health database for HARP2 Emission Inventory Module, you need to open the program, and then click “Help” -> “Check for Updates”, the program will display the available updates. Click on “Download and Install Update”, the program will replace the current health database (typically located at "C:HARP2Tables") with the updated one and update the program STARTUP file. After opening an existing project, follow the program prompt to use the updated health database. The Consolidated Table of OEHHA/ARB Approved Risk Assessment Health Values has also been updated to reflect recent changes and can be downloaded at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/toxics/healthval/healthval.htm.
