This two-day forum will build off last year’s successful National Adaptation Forum (See: http://www.nationaladaptationforum.org/) in Colorado. The attendance of many California leaders there underscored the need for a California-focused event, which will be held every other year to complement the biennial national forum. Registration opens in May. WEB FORUM: Climate Change and Health -- A Framework for Action May 14, 9:00-10:15 a.m. PST Join the CDC's George Luber, the Public Health Institute’s (PHI) Dr. Linda Rudolph, director of University of Wisconsin’s Global Health Institute Dr. Jonathon Patz, and Sandi Galvez of the Bay Area Regional Health Inequities Initiative (BARHII) for a provocative presentation on why climate change is something that everyone in public health should be addressing, and why everyone working on climate change should be thinking about health.
