Ceremony to recognize California’s most sustainable small
businesses

State and local elected officials to honor California small
businesses for taking effective, voluntary steps to reduce their
carbon footprint

SACRAMENTO — The California Air Resources Board and its
CoolCalifornia partners will recognize 13 small businesses for
implementing climate-smart strategies. Three businesses will
receive the Business of the Year award for demonstrating
exceptional sustainable business practices and emission
reductions. Ten businesses will be acknowledged as “Climate
Leaders” for taking effective steps to be more climate-friendly.

Award ceremony honoring 2013 CoolCalifornia Small Business Awards
winners

4 to 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 12.
