The Health Effects Institute has an open request for applications on the research topic “Improving Assessment of Near-Road Exposure to Traffic Related Pollution” (RFA 13-1) as part of their Winter 2013 Research Agenda. RFA 13-1 solicits applications for studies to improve quantification of the relationship between on-road motor vehicle emissions, near-road pollutant concentrations, and human exposures for health studies. RFA 13-1 provides funding for 2- to 3- year studies. Detailed Letters of Intent are due February 11, 2013; applications are due April 19, 2013.
