CDTi’s Purifilter-EGR Diesel Particulate Filter System for
On-Road Applications has been verified. 
 
The Air Resources Board (ARB) has granted verification for Engine
Control Systems Limited (doing business as CDTi; hereafter
referred to as CDTi) Purifilter-EGR DPF system for use with
certain 2002 through 2010 on-road diesel vehicles.  The
Purifilter-EGR system uses a catalyzed silicon carbide wall-flow
filter for passive regeneration to achieve an 85 percent
reduction in emissions of diesel particulate matter, qualifying
it for Level 3 “Plus” verification.  Specific engine families and
conditions for which the Purifilter-EGR system has been approved
