arbcombo -- Extension of the HUG Mobiclean R System

Verification Extension for the Hug Filtersystems Mobiclean R Diesel Particulate Filter for On-Road Diesel Vehicles. The Air Resources Board (ARB) has completed an extension to the verification of the Hug Filtersystems Mobiclean R diesel particulate filter for use with on-road four stroke engines with certified particulate matter (PM) emission levels up to 0.1 grams per brake horsepower-hour (g/bhp-hr) and oxides of nitrogen (NOx) emission levels up to 2.5 g/bhp-hr. The Mobiclean R system reduces emissions of diesel particulate matter by at least 85 percent and is designated as a Level 3 Plus system. The primary components of the system include a diesel oxidation catalyst, a catalyzed diesel particulate filter, and a backpressure monitoring and notification system. The Mobiclean R system is compatible with on-road vehicles using diesel fuel that contains up to 20 percent biodiesel.
