Verification of Design Modifications to the Cleaire LongMile
System for On-Road Diesel Vehicles. 

The Air Resources Board (ARB) has verified design modifications
to the Cleaire LongMile system for use in on-road diesel vehicles
and has lifted the suspension on sales that ARB placed on the
system on September 17, 2011.  The LongMile system reduces
emissions of diesel particulate matter by at least 85 percent and
is designated as a Level 3 Plus system.  The primary components
of the LongMile include a diesel oxidation catalyst, a
non-catalyzed sintered metal diesel particulate filter with a
containment shroud, a spark arrestor, an electronic control
system, and a backpressure monitor.  Specific engine families and
conditions for which the LongMile system has been approved may be
found in the Executive Order that will be posted within ten days
on ARB website at:
