maritime -- Ocean-Going Vessel Regulation Advisories Are Available

The purpose of this listserve is to notify owners and operators that the advisories (Marine Notices) listed below will be posted as they become available over the next week. Updated advisories are needed due to recent amendments to the OGV Clean Fuel Regulation. Additionally, advisories that are outdated will be archived. Marine Notice 2011-2 Short Summary of Rule Marine Notice 2011-3 Noncompliance Fee Provision Marine Notice 2011-4 Recordkeeping Requirements Marine Notice 2011-5 Safety Exemption For your information, the amendments to the regulation became legally effective on October 27, 2011. However, to provide owners and operators with sufficient lead time to implement the changes, ARB will begin enforcement of the amendments to the rule on December 1, 2011.
