Approval of DPF Swapping Policy for Verified Cleaire Diesel
Emission Control Strategies. 

The Air Resources Board (ARB) has approved Cleaire’s component
swapping policy for most of its verified diesel emission control
systems (DECS).  Component swapping means the movement of
designated parts between different vehicles that use the same
DECS.  Cleaire’s policy applies only to the diesel particulate
filter (DPF) component of its verified DECS.  A public swapping
policy document that outlines the general requirements for
swapping Cleaire DPFs will be posted within ten days on ARB
website at:
