Extension for the Verification of the Cleaire LongMile system. 

The Air Resources Board (ARB) has extended the verification of
the Cleaire LongMile system to include additional on-road
heavy-duty diesel engines.  Engines with low certified emission
levels of oxides of nitrogen which include a diesel oxidation
catalyst (DOC) are now included in the verification.  The
LongMile system reduces emissions of diesel particulate matter by
at least 
85 percent and is designated as a Level 3 Plus system.  The
primary components of the LongMile include a DOC, a non-catalyzed
sintered metal diesel particulate filter, an electronic control
system, and a backpressure monitor.  Specific engine families and
conditions for which the LongMile system has been approved may be
found in the Executive Order that will be posted within ten days
on ARB website at:
