arbcombo -- GHG Reporting and Verification FAQs now available

ARB has modified the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for GHG Reporting and Verification for 2011 emissions data reports (2010 emissions). The new FAQs are posted at: (http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/reporting/ghg-rep/updated_faq.pdf. Please review the FAQs if you have any questions about how to report your GHG emissions to ARB. If your question is not addressed in the document, please contact ARB reporting staff (http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/reporting/ghg-rep/ghg-contacts.htm). Updated step-by-step guides for using the reporting tool are available (http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/reporting/ghg-rep/ghg-tool.htm). Reporting deadlines for 2010 emissions data reports in 2011 are April 1 or June 1, depending on the sector. More than half of all GHG reporters are subject to verification again in 2011. A list of facilities subject to verification in 2011 is here: http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/reporting/ghg-ver/ghg-ver.htm). If you have questions about your verification schedule (annual vs triennial), or you believe your schedule is different from the schedule listed, please contact the verification staff at (916) 323-4865, or ghgverify@arb.ca.gov. For facilities subject to triennial verification that received an adverse verification opinion in 2010 on a 2009 emissions data report, verification is highly recommended. ARB staff is working to develop verification guidance for reporters and verifiers in 2011 which will be available shortly.
