Approval of Re-Designation Policy for Verified Cleaire Diesel
Emission Control Strategies. 

The Air Resources Board (ARB) has approved Cleaire’s
re-designation policy for all of its verified diesel emission
control systems (DECS).  Re-designation means the movement of a
used, verified DECS from an appropriate engine/application
(donor) to another engine/application (recipient), within the
same common ownership fleet, that meets the terms and conditions
of the DECS Executive Order or conditional verification letter. 
A public re-designation policy document that outlines the general
requirements for re-designation of Cleaire’s DECS will be posted
within 10 days on the ARB website at:
