In response to questions regarding inclusion of LDT2s in the Zero Emission Vehicle Regulation, the California Air Resources Board (ARB) is providing clarification in regards to the Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Standards for 2009 and Subsequent Model Year Passenger Cars, Light-Duty Trucks, and Medium-Duty Vehicles ZEV Credit Calculations found in California Code of Regulations, Title 13, section 1962.1(g)(2)(A) and (B). Although it has been modified several times over the years, it remains an important regulation for meeting California’s air quality and greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction goals and has spurred many new technologies that are being driven on California’s roads today.
