Public Workshop on Clean Fuels Outlet Regulatory Modifications
and Alternatives – 9AM-noon, December 9, Sacramento

. The Air Resources Board invites you to attend the third public
workshop to discuss both modifications to the Clean Fuels Outlet
(CFO) regulation (California Code of Regulations Title 13,
Chapter 8) and other alternatives for encouraging the development
and growth of hydrogen fueling infrastructure.  Modifications are
being considered to address the near-term needs for alternative
fueling infrastructure brought on by increasing numbers of zero
emission vehicles (ZEVs) mandated under the ZEV regulation. 
During this workshop, staff will review proposed changes to the
CFO regulation and discuss non-regulatory approaches, such as
private party agreements and market incentives, that could be
implemented in conjunction with the CFO requirements to ensure
that hydrogen fueling infrastructure develops in a timely manner
to support commercialization of fuel cell vehicles.
