Conditional Verification of the Cleaire Phoenix System for Off-Road Applications. The Executive Officer of the Air Resources Board (ARB) has evaluated and conditionally verified the Cleaire Phoenix diesel retrofit system for rubber tired and tracked off-road diesel applications. The Phoenix system is approved for use with off-road vehicles and equipment powered by certain diesel engines with model years between 1996 and 2010. The Phoenix system reduces emissions of diesel particulate matter by at least 85 percent, is designated as a Level 3 plus system, and is compatible with diesel fuel that contains up to 20 percent biodiesel. Specific conditions for which the Phoenix system has been approved may be found in the conditional verification letter which will be posted within 10 days on the ARB website at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/diesel/verdev/verdev.htm .
