OFF-ROAD REPORTING UPDATE

April 1, 2010, was the deadline for fleets that wish to receive
reduced activity and reduced horsepower credits to report data
relevant to that and to send reduced activity records to ARB.
For fleets that were unable to enter the data or submit the
required records on time, ARB staff will be accepting such data
until the end of this month.

We would also like to be sure fleets affected by the off-road
regulation are aware that, as described in the March 30, 2010,
note to large fleets in DOORS, due to the delay in enforcement of
the regulation, submitting a “compliance certification” for the
March 1, 2010, large fleet compliance date is not required (i.e.,
is optional). ARB staff will not take enforcement action against
any fleets that do not submit the compliance certification that
was to be required on April 1, 2010. Depending on the status of
enforcement of the overall regulation, next year’s 2011
compliance certification requirement (scheduled to be due for
large fleets on April 1, 2011) may or may not be enforced.
Further information regarding that requirement will be posted to
this list.
