Other Voices: Carbon Emission a Pollutant? Suspend AB 32. In
recent months, my taking the lead to suspend AB 32 has garnered
the attention of media outlets across the nation and most
importantly that of Californians. I am glad people are taking the
time to discuss this momentous issue, seeing how it will affect
California for years to come. However, much of what has been
published has been one-sided and at times downright misleading.
It is important now, more than ever, for Californians to get the
facts straight and make an informed decision for their future and
that of our great state. Posted.

California Climate Change Initiative under Attack. Why are a
number of Texas-based oil companies pouring money into a nascent
ballot initiative in California? Becasue they don’t want to clean
up their act. In a desperate attempt to undermine the state’s
ground-breaking environmental policies, these companies are
funding a campaign to stall – or cancel completely – California’s
comprehensive plan for climate change mitigation. Posted.

Green Groups Fight To Keep EPA's Power Over Emissions.
Environmental activists this week are stepping up a battle to
protect U.S. EPA's ability to regulate greenhouse gas emissions,
staging demonstrations and lobbying lawmakers at their local
offices. Carrying signs with slogans like "Fight Climate Change
Now" and "We Can't Wait for Climate Action," members of the
coalition 1Sky already have rallied outside the regional offices
of 10 senators and seven House members. They plan to visit at
least three more senators' offices this week. Posted.

Global Warming Riches – But Not For You. You may recall
AmazonGate, one of the later frauds perpetuated by global warming
alarmists to justify changing your lifestyle and taking your
money. Well, there’s an interesting update, courtesy the U.K.
Telegraph (why is it the U.S. press doesn’t break these stories?)
In one of the most grandiose global warming scams, there’s a plot
to claim $60 billion in carbon credits to keep intact a large
section of the Amazon rainforest. Oh yeah, by the way, it’s not
really threatened by global warming, if that matters. Posted.
