moyer -- Emergency Equipment Workgroup Meeting notice - Carl Moyer Guidelines

There will be a workgroup meeting on March 30, 2010, to discuss a concept we are considering for the Emergency Equipment Chapter. The workgroup meeting will be to solicit feedback on the proposed new emergency equipment chapter for the 2010 Carl Moyer guidelines. The chapter will provide guidance on how to fund the replacement of emergency equipment statewide including fire trucks, off-road equipment and chainsaws. The chapter will provide the eligibility requirements for emergency vehicles as well as guidance on how to estimate usage. Paying to replace outdated emergency equipment will benefit fire departments statewide while improving air quality. People who are interested in participating in the emergency vehicle workgroup meeting are invited to attend the workgroup meeting in person or by phone.
