Embattled Ethanol Industry Could Go To War In 2010. As 2009

And the industry could claim at least a partial victory when the
EPA in December indicated that it's likely to approve a higher
blend of 15% ethanol in gasoline sold to cars made in 2001 or
later. That is if further testing confirms early results that
showed no damage to cars from a higher blend. Posted.

Loan Program May Stir Nuclear Industry. Washington — When

Grants Help Create Greener Diesel Trucks. The two exhaust pipes
on the back of Rodriguez & Son’s 18-wheeler no longer attach to
anything. Instead, the bright red truck that the Camarillo-based
family business uses to haul sand, dirt and gravel now funnels
its exhaust through a system that reduces the amount of emissions
from its diesel engine. The company recently retrofitted the
truck’s exhaust system using a state grant to pay for the
overhaul. Posted.

motorcycle market in decades. The classic Indian Chief
motorcycle, prized for its fanciful fenders and an American
heritage different from its much bigger rival, Harley-Davidson,
is back and finally ready to roll in California. Posted.
