dms -- DMS submission of information in response to MAC 2009-03, Determination of Manufacturers Subject to GHG Emission Fleet Average Requirement

In response to inquiries from manufacturers, this is to provide guidance to manufacturers of passenger cars, light duty trucks, and medium-duty passenger vehicles on how to submit into the DMS the information requested in MAC 2009-03. • Use the cover letter to provide the responses on equity ownership, common corporate officers, and marketing arrangements described in policy 5 in the MAC. Use the Excel file to report the production numbers for the three previous model years requested in policy 4 in the MAC. • Upload the cover letter and the Excel file in the DMS repository inside the MFR AUTHORIZED CORRESPONDENCE folder located at \ManufacturerCATEGORY COMMON INFORMATIONYYYY LETTERS – SUBMITALS, where YYYY represents the applicable model year. • Cover Letter File Name: CBI_XXXX_CORRESP_LTR*GFT_.pdf. Production Numbers Excel File Name: CBI_XXXX_CORRESP_GHG_FLT_.xls. (XXXX refers to the first four characters of mfr’s test group name.) • For both the cover letter and the Excel file, select LD Correspondence as the document type, enter the appropriate metadata, and in the Correspondence Type select GHG_FLT. • Submit both files to the same workflow. Process Name: 09_CBI_MMMM_GHG_FLT. (MMMM refers to ARB manufacturer code.) • Manufacturers are required to provide this information pertaining to MY2009 and MY 2010 to ARB by December 4, 2009.
