shipincin -- Onboard Incineration - Updated NOAA Charts

Cruise ships and oceangoing ship owners or operators are prohibited from conducting onboard incineration within three nautical miles of the California coast except when required to be operated under the direction and supervision of the United States Coast Guard. The three nautical mile boundary is shown on the following National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Nautical Charts for California: 18600, 18620, 18640, 18680, 18700, 18720, and 18740. Chart 18720, Point Dume to Purisma Point, and Chart 18740, San Diego to Santa Rosa Island, have been updated since adoption of the regulation. The updated chart dates are as follows: Chart 18720 (August 2008), Chart 18740 (March 2007).
