The ARB’s Research Division will present the draft report “Planned Air Pollution Research for Fiscal Year 2009-2010” to the Air Resources Board in Diamond Bar, California on September 24, 2009. For a copy of the research plan and more details regarding the research program please visit: http://www.arb.ca.gov/research/apr/apr.htm We would like to thank all who submitted ideas for consideration in the research planning process. Staff reviewed all public suggestions as well as internally-generated research concepts. Final decisions were based on technical merit; likelihood for success; and support of the Board’s strategic goals, objectives, and regulatory obligations. The planned research portfolio for FY 2009-2010 includes 21 projects that will be recommended for funding at a total funding level of $5.3M. The next research planning cycle will begin shortly. We expect to release a new solicitation for research concepts in the next few months. We appreciate your work and encourage you to participate!
