reduce emissions from existing off-road diesel vehicles used in
California in construction, mining, and other industries. The
In-Use Off-Road Diesel Vehicle Regulation will reduce the
public's exposure to cancer-causing exhaust and other pollution
from diesel vehicles. The regulation requires fleet owners to
retrofit, repower, or replace their off-road diesel fueled
vehicles gradually over the next decade.
