This email notification serves to update the status of the proposed Cool Cars Standards and Test Procedures regulatory efforts. This notice provides updates in three areas: · The California Air Resources Board (ARB) Hearing to consider the AB 32 – Cool Cars Standards and Test Procedures previously scheduled for March 26 and 27, 2009 has been re-scheduled to June 25 and 26, 2009. · Revised draft regulatory language has been posted on ARB's website at http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/cool-paints/cool-paints.htm or may be requested from ARB’s Emission Research and Regulatory Development Branch at (626) 575-6632. Comments are requested by March 10, 2009. · A workshop has been scheduled for March 12, 2009 at ARB's El Monte office, from 1 - 4 p.m. The workshop will focus on the ARB's plans to reduce the interior solar load of passenger vehicles, light-duty trucks, and medium-duty vehicles less than or equal to 10,000 pounds. The workshop agenda will be available at the workshop and at least 10 days prior to the workshop on ARB’s website at http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/cool-paints/cool-paints.htm or may be requested from ARB’s Emission Research and Regulatory Development Branch at (626) 575-6632.
