Diesel emission control systems that comply with the 2009 nitrogen dioxide emission limit. The Verification Procedure, Warranty and In-Use Compliance Requirements for In-Use Strategies to Control Emissions from Diesel Engines requires that verified diesel emission control systems (DECS) not increase emissions of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) by more than 20 percent of the baseline oxides of nitrogen emission level beginning January 1, 2009. A listing of DECS that comply with this limit and are currently verified may be found on the ARB website at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/diesel/verdev/vt/cvt.htm The list of verified DECS may be updated at any time, therefore it is suggested that you check it frequently.
