Posted: 21 Oct 2008 15:24:49
The Air Resources Board has designated the stationary diesel engine verification of the CleanAIR Systems PERMIT DPF as a Plus system meeting the January 1, 2009 nitrogen dioxide (NO2) requirements. The PERMIT DPF has been verified as being able to achieve a Level 3 particulate matter reduction (at least 85%) verification for stationary diesel engines used in both prime and emergency/standby generators that emit 0.2 g/bhp-hr particulate matter or less. Specific engine families and conditions for which the PERMIT DPF have been approved may be found in the new Executive Order available on our website: http://www.arb.ca.gov/diesel/verdev/vt/stationary.htm#permit If you have any questions regarding this verification, please contact John Lee at jlee@arb.ca.gov or 916.327.5975.
