In preparation for the upcoming statewide public workshops to discuss staff’s draft regulatory proposal for reducing high-global warming refrigerant emissions from stationary refrigeration and air‑conditioning equipment, a revised draft of the proposed rule is available. The text of the draft proposed rule is attached with an outline of major changes. Additional information is also available on the ARB website at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/reftrack/reftrack.htm. The Air Resources Board (ARB) staff invites you to participate in the first statewide public workshop to discuss staff’s draft regulatory proposal for reducing high-global warming potential refrigerants emissions from stationary refrigeration and air‑conditioning equipment. At the workshop, ARB staff will present an overview of the sector, efforts to date, the preliminary results of emissions inventory, and the draft regulatory language.
