Application for the use of no added formaldehyde (NAF) base resins or ultra low emitting formaldehyde (ULEF) resins. This email is to inform you that the application for the use of no-added formaldehyde (NAF) based resins or ultra low emitting formaldehyde (ULEF) resins is now available at the following link: http://www.arb.ca.gov/toxics/compwood/naf_ulef/naf_ulefapp.pdf. Under the requirements of the Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) to reduce formaldehyde from composite wood products, manufactures of composite wood products can apply to obtain exemption from third party certification requirements.
