The first public workshops for the ARB draft regulatory proposal for high-GWP refrigerant management will be held in September. The Air Resources Board (ARB) staff invites you to participate in the first statewide public workshop to discuss staff’s draft regulatory proposal for reducing high-global warming potential refrigerants emissions from stationary refrigeration and air‑conditioning equipment. At the workshop, ARB staff will present an overview of the sector, efforts to date, the preliminary results of emissions inventory, and the draft regulatory language. Staff will present the same information at all three locations shown below. Fresno Date: September 8 (Monday), 2008 Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Location: 1990 E. Gettysburg Ave., Fresno El Monte Date: September 12 (Friday), 2008 Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Location: 9480 Telstar Avenue, Suite 4, El Monte Sacramento (Webcast) Date: September 15 (Monday), 2008 Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Location: 1001 I Street, Sacramento Direction: http://www.calepa.ca.gov/EPABldg/location.htm ARB staff has proposed to create the Stationary Equipment Refrigerant Management Program, which integrates two AB32 early action measures: High-Global Warming Potential (GWP) Refrigerant Tracking, Reporting, Deposit, and Recovery for Stationary Refrigerant and Air Conditioning systems and Specifications for New Commercial Refrigeration Systems .
