publicfleets -- Statewide Truck and Bus Regulation Public Workshops

We invite you to participate in a series of workshops to discuss the proposed regulation to reduce emissions from existing diesel-fueled on-road vehicles operating in the State. This is the seventh set of workshops since the initial regulatory concept was presented in April 2007 and will also be the last series of workshops before the proposed regulation will be considered by the Board on October 23, 2008. At the workshops, staff plans to provide an overview of the proposed regulation and to discuss the associated costs and emissions benefits. Day and evening workshops are planned. The daytime workshops will be held in San Diego, El Monte, Redding, San Jose, Sacramento, and Fresno. The workshop in Sacramento will also be webcast.
