The Air Resources Board (ARB) staff invites you to participate in a public workshop to discuss concepts for reducing SF6 emissions from non-electric and non-semiconductor applications. This measure covers SF6 in magnesium casting, tracer gas uses, medical uses, and other uses. The control measure is being developed as a discrete early action measure pursuant to the California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 (AB 32). At the workshop, ARB staff will present an overview of the sector, efforts to date, the preliminary results of an industry survey, and the draft recommended approach for the regulation.
