We invite you to participate in a series of technical workshops
to discuss the methodology that ARB staff is planning to use to
estimate the costs attributed to the proposed regulation for
in-use on-road heavy-duty diesel-fueled vehicles and to update
the emission inventory.   These workshops will primarily be a
techncial discussion on these methodologies, and the proposed
regulation will not be discussed at these meetings.  Additional
workshops to discuss the potential future changes to the
proposed regulation are being planned for early August. The
workshops will be held in Fresno on July 8, in El Monte on July
11, and in Sacramento on July 14.  The workshop in Sacramento
