Landfill Workgroup Meeting Dear Stakeholders: A landfill workgroup meeting/conference call is scheduled for the following date: When: *Thursday, May 9, 2008 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Pacific Time) * Participant Passcode: 7513828 Toll Free Number: 877-419-7727 Where: Conference Room 510 (for those who will not be participating by conference call) The purpose of the meeting is to discuss revisions to the draft landfill methane control measure. Topics to be discussed at the meeting include, but are not limited to the following: 1) proposed 200 ppm surface standard; 2) surface monitoring frequency and spacing; 3) streamlining reporting requirements; and 4) allowing landfill operators more flexibility in running their day-to-day operations. ----------------- Agenda and revised draft landfill methane control measure will be available on our website at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/landfills/landfills.htm prior to the meeting.
