gmbond -- February 15 ARB Workshop on Prop1B Goods Movement Program

The Air Resources Board (ARB) staff invites you to participate in a public workshop on the Goods Movement Emission Reduction Program (Program) on February 15, 2008, from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm, at the Cal/EPA building in Sacramento. We have scheduled this additional workshop to specifically discuss the proposed Program Guidelines that will be released on or before February 4, 2008. These Guidelines detail the responsibilities of ARB, local agencies, and equipment owners, as well as the procedures for implementing the Program. The workshop notice, a staff report that summarizes and explains the proposal, and the detailed project specifications discussed at the January workshops are currently available on our website at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/gmbond. The proposed Guidelines will also be posted on this site. We will notify the people on this listserve via email when the Guidelines are available and other Program meeting notices or material are posted. The Board will hold a public hearing on February 28, 2008 in Sacramento to consider adoption of the Program Guidelines, $25 million in “early grant” proposals, and Program funding targets.
