The Air Resources Board (ARB) is pleased to announce that the Dairy and Livestock Working Group Subgroup #2 (Fostering Markets for Digester Projects) will hold its kickoff meeting on June 26, 2017. Subgroup members will discuss and seek consensus on mission statements, deliverables, ground rules, initial work assignments, and upcoming meeting and deliverable schedules. A live webcast and email address will be made available for remote participation. To facilitate the development of measures to reduce dairy and livestock emissions, SB 1383 (Lara, Chapter 395, Statutes of 2016) requires ARB to work with a broad range of stakeholders to identify and address technical, market, regulatory, and other challenges and barriers to the development of dairy methane emissions reduction projects. In response, ARB worked with the California Department of Food and Agriculture, the California Energy Commission, and the California Public Utilities Commission to convene a Dairy and Livestock Working Group. All subgroup meetings are open to the public. Additional meeting information is available on each subgroup's web page.
