The address for the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and
the point of contacts for several local air districts have been
updated in the Semiconductors - Emissions Report webpage and are
available here:.

Pursuant to title 17, California Code of Regulations, section
95324(a), owners and operators of semiconductor operations must
submit annual emissions report to the permitting agency (local
air district) no later than March 1st of each year. This report
must quantify the monthly and annual emissions from semiconductor
operations conducted during the previous calendar year.

For information regarding the reporting requirements and the
emissions report, please contact the appropriate local air
district staff.

Background

The semiconductor regulation is designed to reduce greenhouse gas
emissions from semiconductor operations and was adopted pursuant
to the California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 (Health &
Safety Code, sections 38500 et. seq.). This regulation became
effective January 1, 2010.
