The California Air Resources Board’s (ARB) staff has posted a list of companies that responded to the 2014 Architectural Coatings Survey (2014 Survey). The 2014 Survey collected data for architectural coatings sold in California during the 2013 calendar year. The 2014 Survey is available here: http://www.arb.ca.gov/coatings/arch/survey/2014/2014survey.htm ARB’s Architectural Coatings Program is crucial in helping air districts reduce the amount of smog-forming volatile organic compounds that are emitted from use of architectural coatings in California. ARB’s Suggested Control Measures for Architectural Coatings have resulted in air districts reducing statewide emissions from architectural coatings. ARB’s 2014 Survey is an important step in collecting information on architectural coatings that are sold or supplied for use in California. The data collected from the 2014 Survey are designed to support the statewide architectural coatings inventory, speciation profiles used in criteria pollutant modeling, and future Suggested Control Measures for Architectural Coatings.
