The California Air Resource Board has posted an updated Notice of Upcoming Low Carbon Fuel Standard Credits Release for Non-Metered Residential Electric Vehicle Charging. Due to a delay in California Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) data availability, an updated schedule for annual release of these credits has been established for this year. Staff expects to complete the annual credit calculation and place credits in the Electric Distribution Utilities’ accounts on March 15, 2017, for credits from 2016 vehicle charging. The updated notice summarizes the timeline and methodology staff used to calculate these non-metered residential charging credits.
