The Forest Climate Action Team (FCAT) has released the Forest Carbon Plan draft for public review, and has set up a public workshop for discussion. The Forest Carbon Plan draft (Jan. 2017) document is available at: http://fire.ca.gov/fcat/downloads/California%20Forest%20Carbon%20Plan%20Draft%20for%20Public%20Review_Jan17.pdf. Your comments are welcome. Please see the FCAT website at http://fire.ca.gov/fcat for more information. Comments are due by February 23, 2017 and should be emailed to fcat.calfire@fire.ca.gov. The Forest Carbon Plan will be finalized in Spring 2017. Upcoming Public Workshop: The Forest Climate Action Team will hold a public workshop to take comment on the Draft Forest Carbon Plan: Thursday, February 16, 2017, from 1:00-4:00 PM (PST) Coastal Hearing Room California Environmental Protection Agency Building 1001 I Street, Sacramento, California Please allow time for checking in at the building security desk. The workshop will also be webcast. The public can access the meeting webcast here: https://video.calepa.ca.gov/. The webcast links will be active starting about 15 minutes prior to the meeting.
